How PSPC is rolling out vendor performance scorecards

What changed? Public Services and Procurement Canada published its Vendor Performance Management Policy while expanding the program in phases. In its September update, PSPC said it was using scores to test and improve the program and would give suppliers 90 days’ notice before using them in procurement decisions.

Why it matters? On contracts covered by the program, teams can use the scorecard categories to organize the evidence they discuss with contracting authorities throughout delivery.

What suppliers can do? For an eligible contract, ask which scorecard applies and when reviews occur. Keep a short monthly record of accepted deliverables, milestones, approved changes and actions taken to resolve issues.
